iTAAP to hold meet on smart cities

Experts will exchange views on key areas, says organiser

The Information Technology Association of Andhra Pradesh (iTAAP) is going to organise a national symposium on the challenges and opportunities using the latest technology in the Smart Cities project. With city-based electronics firm Efftronics Systems Pvt. Ltd. as the knowledge partner, the symposium will discuss the revolutionary concepts of Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, BigData, Analytics and Mobile Applications.

Scheduled to be held on May 5 and 6, the symposium will be inaugurated by IT Minister Nara Lokesh, according to organisers. “Cities are the engines of economic growth and it is anticipated that 40 % of the country’s population would live in urban areas by 2030.
