Smart Dubai partners with Smart Cities NYC

The conference, which took place at start of May in New York, is a global conference and expo on smart cities and urban development, supported by the NYC mayor. Smart Dubai was a strategic partner of the event.

From Smart Dubai, HE Dr Aisha Bint Butti Bin Bishr, Director-General of the Smart Dubai Office; Younus Al Nasser, Assistant Director General of the Smart Dubai Office; and HE Wesam Lootah, CEO of Smart Dubai Government Establishment all participated in the event/ They also participated in an event at the IBM Think Lab facility hosted by the US-UAE Business Council.During the Smart Cities NYC conference, the Smart Dubai delegation participated in a number of events, including sessions on Blockchain, big data and municipal collaboration.

HE Dr Aisha Bint Butti Bin Bishr said: “Smart Dubai is committed to adopting the most-cutting edge international innovations and practices when it comes to building the smart city, which supports our end goal of making Dubai the smartest and happiest city on the planet.
